Interlope is the association of two producers, Rimshot and Dragondaz, who are both creating tracks for worldwide dance-floors.
When they met at l'Hopital Ephemère (Paris) back in 97, Rimshot, aka Grg H., was playing in Lt-No (Naïve) as drummer and sampling designer. Dragongaz, aka Chris B., was a part of two duets : Psaizone, which had produced several tracks for the No-Tek label, and Sounds like Pistols (live-set drum/sampler).
Interlope was born in October 99 from the idea that a machine live act would be better for dance-floors as a single DJ. That's why they offered their compositions and improvisations around break-beat, drum'n'bass and techno.
Clearly thought as a live act, Interlope endlessly toured in France, Germany and the UK.
