Crazy beats, hypnotic loops, powerful riffs are the ingredients characterising the Aku Fen's sound, as well as a certain predilection for vintage modular synths as the legendary Korg MS10 (Techno Animal, Mr Oizo...) and a distinctive use of Asian sampled sounds(DJ Krush, Wang Lei), tendency also found on High Tone's records, where he acts as the guitar player. An eclectic sound of an evolving abstract hip-hop universe to deafening waterfalls breaks, accompanied live by Opti on video and sometimes by MCs as the Real Fake MC, Azfalt, Red Bong, RazaMik, K-Tris or by his colleague, DJ Twelve (High Tone's DJ) with whom he created the soundtrack "Lenteur" released by Jarring Effects.
