Pilah, guitarist of the band Kaly Live Dub, mixes live his own productions and offers ruff sets melting incisive reggae-dubs, new drum, electro diy manipulations and the voices of several singers such as Rod Taylor or Learoy Green. During his live (about 60 min), he plays his massive tracks, from steppa to digital, and likes to challenge norms and genres, by combining reggae sounds, corrosive dubs and meticulous arrangements, where Joe Pilgrim pitches his voice, melodic and always inspired. He is indeed the official singer of the Lyonese Dub Addict Sound System collective, gathering Roots Massacre, Boudou, 19 Dub, Pilgrim, Ocoughi and Pilah. Since 2002, those activists are spreading their sounds and productions on their own home-made powerfull Sound System (10 kw - PA & scoops inspired by the Jamaican and UK traditions but always with the French dub touch).
