After being the singer of Tong! (Hardcore-punk), the egg’s hatching as a solo project occurred during the selection process for the 2001 edition of “Printemps de Bourges” (one of the major French festivals). On this occasion, the drummer of hardcore bands Happy Anger and Plod supported him on stage. At first, the live-set included machines, samplers and loops, backed up by traditional instruments: bass, drums, and guitar… Later these instruments were abandoned to create a much more electronic set, adding Vjing to Fred's machines, and making this live experience a rare set of explosive electro hip-hop. Following the release of three singles, here comes l’OEuf Raide’s first full length recording “13 à la Douzaine”, whisked electro for the best electromelette.
