After “Fantasques Hit #1 and #2” and“How Do You sleep ?”, Jarring Effects releases another original compilation called “Audio-Activism”. “Audio” because it gathers artists exploring the dark side of electronic music. “Activism” because it aims at spreading innovative and unexpected voices. The theme of this record is to denounce the standardisation of Culture due to the influence of mass-medias. In order to illustrate this argument, each artist worked on the famous quote from Gil Scott-Heron : “The Revolution Will not be Televised”.
