Kaben c'est l'union de Jérémy Casanova et Sergio Daconceicao. Ensemble ils arpentent les chemins de la musique, tantôt pop, tantôt électro, mais toujours éclectique.

Kaben, jeune duo de pâtissiers parisiens, pratique aussi bien le glaçage des milles feuilles que le frisson sur la peau. Alliant subtilement Post-Dubstep et Cold-Pop, Kaben possède un univers qui lui est propre. Inspiré par la pop britannique agrémentée de sons électroniques et doux, leurs œuvres ne sont pas sans rappeler l’atmosphère provoquée par The XX ou James Blake.

Jeunes et exigeants, voilà ce qui caractérisent le duo, chaque son est choisi et travaillé méticuleusement et le tout nous emporte dans une tiède rêverie. Dès lors les percussions ne sont plus seulement des boites à rythmes mais une partie mélodique d’une symphonie plus grande.
Après s’être rencontré via les réseaux sociaux, les deux complices entrent en studio et concoctent des morceaux à la fois sensibles et mélancoliques tels que Lighthouse ou Rain.

Ils sortiront leur premier EP le 16 juin chez JFX Lab, intitulé Blue Marmot, avant un showcase intimiste dans le disquaire le plus en vogue de la rue Leynaud…

Kaben is the result of the union of Jeremy Casanova and Sergio Daconceicao. Together, they walk through music, whether it is pop or electronic, they are always eclectic.

Kaben is a young duet of parisians pastry cooks, as good as icing cakes as giving you goosebumps. Their alliance of Post-Dubstep and Cold-Pop create a very specific universe. Inspired by British Pop and the growing use of electronic sounds, their work sometimes reminds of the atmosphere from The XX or James Blake.

Young and demanding, there are the words that characterize them well. Each sound is picked with care and worked with caution so that the whole track take us in a warm and soft dream. The percussions are not only there to rhythm the song, they are a true melodic part of a bigger symphony.

Jeremy and Sergio met through social network, before spending all of their time with each other, in the studio making music, working on sensible and melancolic tracks such as Lighthouse or Rain.

Their first EP, Blue Marmot will be out on JFX Lab on June 16th, before an intimate showcase in the JFX Store on June 27th.
