If the media has fun defining French rap as "the new pop", we at Galant Records prefer to continue to observe this genre in perpetual movement and give these artists a chance to show their differences. Far from being an ouroboros (ancient symbol of the snake biting its own tail), rap is taking new forms that, like Sangoku in anime, continue to surprise. New voices and new beatmakers, we are witnessing a plurality of sub-genres within hip hop.

Pétaradant, de-Westernized, futuristic, inventive and totally mixed, Galant Records writes the saga of hip hop of the future. We wish to demonstrate our own identity in relation to our parent company Jarring Effects while keeping the same approach that made its success. A work that is done in the long run through our meetings and our digging sessions to end up with projects that we like artistically, because we are above all listeners.
